Vinyasa Flow

Fast-paced, one breath per movement, w/ flow on your own component

  • Developed to be foundational for physically active students, we take time to break down poses and sequences of a one-breath-per-movement (Vinyasa) yoga class. We give helpful tips for building a safe, long-term practice.

Deep Vinyasa

82-86ºF

Slower movements w/ longer held postures.

  • Deep Vinyasa is a slower sequence that encourages moving inward. Through feeling postures with the eyes closed, we explore the healing connection between mind and body, while strengthening the other four senses.

Healing Vinyasa

Slower, more grounded postures with gentler flow.

  • A simplified version of Vinyasa that offers more grounded postures at a much slower pace. This class is accessible to all kinds of bodies, no matter your experience level. You’ll come away feeling relaxed, vibrant, and whole.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Remix

A great introduction to Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga postures set to music

  • Adapted from the Primary Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga — a highly-structured yoga system that uses a set sequence of postures practiced for five breaths at a time. As the Ashtanga Yoga System progresses, the poses become more challenging, offering a powerful and purifying way to build strength, flexibility, and physical and mental endurance. This all-level class is set to music and fully guided.

Follow the Yogi

Short Description: 60-minute Short Form Adaptation of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

  • Adapted from the Primary Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, this 60-minute short-form class is held in a quiet, practiced with your teacher. Minimal instruction provided; not appropriate for first-time yoga students.

Yin yoga

76-80ºF

A deep stretch using grounded postures held for long periods.

  • Designed to release deep tissue tension and fatigue. Ideal for the student looking to find a deep stretch, as yin yoga moves into the connective tissues that may be harder to reach in other styles of yoga.

Healing Vin+Yin

 First half of class is Healing Vinyasa, Second half is Yin Yoga

  • Union of opposites! Experience the power of a heat-building, faster-paced Vinyasa for the first half of this class; followed by the slower, grounded, deep stretch of Yin.

Yoga Nidra

76-80ºF

A deeply restful state explored through guided meditation

  • Yoga Nidra is a conscious state of deep relaxation and awareness. In this state, we are given access to restore our abilities to heal by reducing stress and bringing a newfound sense of clarity and calm. Practiced regularly, it is not only restorative but can be deeply transformative as well.

Yoga for Runners

A fully guided class of postures primarily targeting the lower body musculature. 

  • This class is designed for everyone—from athletes to people recovering from injury; from young to old; from newcomers to experienced. Students may benefit from the restorative, centering, and functional properties of this class.

Community Meditation

Seated meditation focused on breath connection

  • A seated practice, where the mind is trained to become more sensitive to the entire body and mental processes, using awareness of breath. Benefits of developing this practice may include stress reduction, improved concentration, a positive mood and healthy sleep patterns.

***Welcome Home Recovery Yoga

A short recovery meeting, followed by an accessible yoga flow

  • A mind-body practice that addresses addiction relapse prevention by combining the practical tools of the recovery programs with the physical and spiritual practices of yoga. Welcome Home Recovery Yoga is a DONATION-BASED class, open to anyone and everyone who has dealt with addiction, their own, or the addictive behavior of others. This class is taught by a teacher living in long-term recovery.

Chair Yoga

76-80ºF

A specialty class utilizing chairs to help provide balance and strength support

  • Chair Yoga is an adapted form of yoga. The chair replaces the yoga mat and becomes an extension of the body allowing the student to take full advantage of the benefits of yoga. Chair Yoga helps to modify the practice based on mobility, health, and current ability level, including seated poses on the chair and standing poses using the chair for balance and support.

***Queer Folks + Allies Yoga

 An inclusive class for exploring their bodies through breath and movement

  • The class is open to all who identify as LGBTQIA+ and our queer allies. Making the class as inclusive as possible is our primary goal. Our intention is to create a brave space for attendees to experience their feelings through breath and movement, in the community as queer people. Our practice will move us through an all-level flow.

A donation-based all levels, accessible class open to the community

  • An All-level yoga class offered on a weekly basis, designed to introduce students to our style, culture, and community. All ages, and ability levels are welcome. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

Welcome Home Yoga & Wellness’ yoga practices comes from the Ashtanga Yoga lineage. We don’t offer yoga classes on Moon days, which are observed as yoga holidays in the Ashtanga Yoga tradition.

Two unlimited yoga membership options, a three month commitment for $119 per month and a six month commitment for $109 per month
